Pranav Patel’s practice includes patents, trademark matters, and opinion and diligence work. He advises clients on prosecution, portfolio development, filing strategy, clearance and registrability issues, and broader intellectual property counseling, with experience spanning life sciences, medical devices, software, and other technology-focused matters.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Before joining OG&P, Pranav worked on patent prosecution, trademark matters, litigation support, and dispute-related legal analysis. His prior experience includes intellectual property associate work involving mechanical, software, and life-sciences-adjacent inventions; litigation work involving drafting, discovery, and witness preparation; and legal work connected to federal contracts, collaboration issues, and technology-transfer considerations through NASA’s Office of Chief Counsel. He also advised startups and small businesses on patent and trademark strategy, filing decisions, clearance considerations, and contract matters in solo practice.
