He also has extensive experience negotiating consulting, technology evaluation, secrecy, joint development, and acquisition / divestment agreements.

Before joining OG&P, Jerry Coon served as in-house intellectual property counsel at Union Carbide Corporation, BASF Corporation, and Praxair, Inc. He has prepared and prosecuted worldwide patent portfolios involving coatings, industrial gases, electronics, specialty chemicals and plastics, adhesives, emulsion polymers, silicones, urethane intermediates, molecular sieves, lubricants, pharmaceuticals, specialty polymers and composites, and agricultural chemicals.
